Kindle Alexander has done it again, created another book that completely captures my heart!

Secret is the story of Dylan Reeves, a software engineer who has created a brilliant new social media site called Secret and Tristan Wilder, super hot CEO of Wilder-Nation which happens to be the company about to buy-out Secret.

I have to start with a confession, a secret of my own (hehe), I was very nervous about this book. The blurb explains that Dylan has a wife and children and is a devoted family man, but also is clear that this is Dylan and Tristan’s story. I was instantly worried about a cheating aspect, but I should know the wonderful writing of Kindle Alexander better than that! I immediately respected the way this relationship was handled!

So, that out of the way, on to Dylan and Tristan. There was such instant chemistry between these two I could practically feel it vibrating off the pages. I absolutely fell for Tristan and how he viewed Dylan as well as his ability to make Dylan comfortable but push his boundaries bit by bit. Tristan is a very honest man and true to his heart. I adored him!

Dylan is stuck living a life deep deep in the closet, unsure of when or if he can ever come out. He finds that undeniable connection with Tristan and clearly does not know how to handle what he feels towards the man.

I loved, I mean loved hard, watching their relationship grow. Tristan is so strong and supportive of Dylan and determined to go after what he wants. I enjoyed that this story wasn’t about the angst or the mystery, but about the building of love and trust. Dylan is learning to understand what he is feeling, towards Tristan and towards what he believes he owes his family.

“I’ll wait for you, however long it takes.”

As I said in the beginning, this book truly captured my heart, there were so many wonderful feels! I loved this journey to happy for everyone involved. Secret is a wonderful love story, but not just between two people, but families and friends as well! (I loved Dylan’s wife Teri, she was actually one of my favorite people in the book.)

Secret is another must read from Kindle Alexander! Brilliant and heart-warming. The only thing that would make this book better is if it were longer – I wasn’t ready to let go of Dylan and Tristan.

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It’s always a surprise to see what’s coming next!

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it’s true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women’s hair!

Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life – I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations – regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal… I don’t want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I’m going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I’ll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn’t have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It’s everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness – it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn’t a time she wasn’t there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It’s its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn’t be here today without her.
