Happy Friday! I recently finished this book, Him, and I absolutely loved it! Two hot hockey men, oh yeah! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Happy reading!
They don’t play for the same team. Or do they?
Jamie Canning has never been able to figure out how he lost his closest friend. Four years ago, his tattooed, wise-cracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation. So what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer they were eighteen? It was just a little drunken foolishness. Nobody died.
Ryan Wesley’s biggest regret is coaxing his very straight friend into a bet that pushed the boundaries of their relationship. Now, with their college teams set to face off at the national championship, he’ll finally get a chance to apologize. But all it takes is one look at his longtime crush, and the ache is stronger than ever.
Jamie has waited a long time for answers, but walks away with only more questions—can one night of sex ruin a friendship? If not, how about six more weeks of it? When Wesley turns up to coach alongside Jamie for one more hot summer at camp, Jamie has a few things to discover about his old friend…and a big one to learn about himself.
Warning: contains sexual situations, skinnydipping, shenanigans in an SUV and proof that coming out to your family on social media is a dicey proposition.

Hockey players and hot guys, is there really that much more to ask for? Well, Him will bring it! This book was fantastic!
Jamie and Wes were best friends for a long time, having bonded at hockey camp every summer until a bet turns into an awkward night that ruins their friendship. It’s years before the two see each other again and when it happens at the college hockey championships the sparks are there.
Wes has always regretted what happened and the loss of his friendship with Jamie so when there is an opportunity to spend one more summer together, coaching at the very same camp they used to attend Wes can’t pass up the chance to try to get his friend back. He has a bright future ahead of him, but truly wants to fill that empty part of his life that Jamie filled.
Jamie doesn’t do relationships, he has a friend he hooks up with regularly but it’s definitely not a relationship to him, even though she wants more. Yes, she! When he and Wes cross paths and the chemistry is there, Jamie finds himself questioning himself and his attractions.
I loved these two! The chemistry between Wes and Jamie is off the charts hot and I adored both of them. Their personalities are so strong that I felt like I really got to know them. I loved the setting, returning to the hockey camp they went to when they were kids. It seems like the perfect place to fall in love!
This was a wonderfully written book and I adored it, from start to finish. It was funny and emotional and made my heart get all fluttery and happy. Him is a wonderful journey of true-love, self-discovery and best friends. I can easily add Him to my favorites list and I know I will read it over and over again. I hope the two authors work together again, because I would love more!
