Happy Sunday! I hope it’s been a great weekend! Well, I’ve got a great m/m motorcycle read for you! The Darkest Flame by Christina Lee features HOT alpha men with hearts! And motorcycles – yes motorcycles!

Happy Reading!

Vaughn O’Keefe has been part owner of the Hog’s Den for years. Privy to plenty of Disciples of the Road business, he’s never been more ruffled as when a new recruit named “Smoke” walks through the door. Something about the man gets his blood pumping, but he knows to keep his preferences under wraps around the club.

“Smoke” Callahan has done a couple of rehab stints and is finally clean, thanks to help from the Disciples. He’s on the right path and isn’t about to get sidetracked, no matter how much the guy who manages the bar gets beneath his skin. Besides, his last relationship with a man left him scared, alone, and with a nightmare of an addiction.

When the Hog’s Den becomes shorthanded, and Smoke is ordered to help out the one man he can’t have, his longing for the bartender reaches blistering proportions. Vaughn figures a night together should be enough to satisfy their mutual attraction. But neither banks on just how scorching hot it might be.

As Smoke’s past unravels and the one person he hopes never to lay eyes on again messes with all he holds sacred, it’s time to involve the Disciples. Problem is, he’ll have to risk his membership, his heart, and his own hide to keep everyone he cares about safe.

The Darkest Flame is a story about a hard motorcycle club member and a bar owner and the unlikely but wonderful relationship they build together.

Vaughn is one of the owners of The Hogs Den, the bar where the Disciples are regulars. He’s used to the MC life and the guys, but there is something different about Smoke, something that completely captures his attention.

Smoke has lived a hard life, now clean after two stints in rehab, he is determined to keep his life moving in the right direction. He owes it all to his new club The Disciples, and their president. He doesn’t think his bisexuality would be accepted by the group but he definitely notices Vaughn, and can’t seem to stop thinking about him. When Vaughn ends up shorthanded at the bar Smoke is asked to help out, meaning he’s going to be spending a lot of time with Vaughn.

I really liked these two and thought they had smoking hot chemistry! They both tried so hard to stay away from each other, hide what they were feeling but it was just too much, and I loved that tension that they created with each other.

Both of these men carry scars from their past that make it difficult for either to believe they could have a future together. They think that they can just have to night together, scratch the itch, and then move on. Oh but these two are so meant for each other.

Smoke and Vaughn are definitely two alpha men and as much as they try to deny their feelings, they are so possessive of each other and many times took my breath away. I adored watching these two fall so hard for each other! They fought it and had to deal with some serious past issues, but oh the love they found just melted my heart!

“But I never found anybody I wanted to lose everything for”

I loved their story, it was hard and raw at times and certainly met it’s challenges but it was fantastic! There were definitely some twists and turns that kept me guessing and had me on the edge of my seat needing to know what was going to happen. Vaughn and Smoke are one of those couples you root for with everything you have and then melt when you see the bond that they’ve created! I truly enjoyed their story and fell hard for them myself. I definitely can’t wait for more from Christina Lee!
