Josh Cooper, top US security field agent, is sent on an inter-agency assignment to London, when a partner in his firm goes missing in suspicious circumstances. Used to working in sole charge of his well-honed team, he clashes heads with the handsome, but pompous Cal, his UK co-operator and superior. Josh’s gut tells him something is wrong. He’s being kept out of the loop and Cal’s agenda is running on a different path.

He also has a personal issue to deal with. He’s involved in a cyber-relationship with “Charlie”, an unknown man who connected with Josh by accident. Their banter has led to deeper respect and a sexual interest, but now Josh is faced with a growing attraction to Cal. Between this conflict and the tension of the mission, Josh’s heart and head are overworked and confused. Things can’t get much worse.

Then Josh discovers the enemies he’s seeking have a new target: him.

I SO enjoyed this story, from start to finish, I couldn’t put this book down! The characters are fantastic, with so much personality, the story full of mystery – it kept me guessing until the end, and there’s a good dose of humor and sass as well!

Josh Cooper works for CDR an exclusive security firm that provides protection for important people. He’s more the brains behind his team than the muscle. He leaves that to the other two guys on his team, twin brothers Landry and Gil. These three make a great team. Josh is smart and so sassy, he has a big personality and doesn’t hide it, no matter who it upsets. He’s a relentless flirt but also has a thing for Charlie, someone he talks to online who seems to know a lot about him. His Charlie obviously is connected to CDR and knows things before Josh, his Angel. They have a connection, a bond, despite only being online. His team gets sent to London on an assignment, one that doesn’t fit their usual cases, but they are determined to solve it.

Cal works for an agency similar to CDR in London and Josh’s team is assigned to work them to find a very important missing person. Cal is charming and sexy and brilliant, but maybe not all that he seems at first glance. He and Josh have an immediate attraction and chemistry together, but they have work to do, it’s not just about them. Things with their case start going wrong and following the trail seems to be putting them all in danger.

There is mystery, romance and a story that will keep you guessing! I never knew what to expect with this group and they continued to surprise me with twists and turns! The relationship building between Cal and Josh makes the story all that more exciting, then you have to add in Charlie and what Josh has with him! Morning My Angel really has it all for me, I loved not knowing what to expect next from this group. There was a perfect mix of intrigue, smexy moments and laughs as well. Sue Brown tells a fantastic story that I felt totally consumed by, created characters I felt like I got to know. I loved this story and truly hope that we get more Josh & Cal – I would absolutely love to see what is next for these two!
I loved this book so much and highly recommend it!
