4.5 Stars

Merry Christmas, Mr. Miggles is a fantastic, feel-good holiday read! I loved this story and the characters and overall it just made me happy! For me, there is just so much to love about Sean and Toby and their journey finding love.

Mr. Miggles is the town librarian and Toby the junior librarian. Both men love their jobs and their library. They have a great professional relationship and work well together. Toby has a boyfriend, Justin, who really isn’t a great boyfriend at all. He borrows money, he doesn’t spend time with Toby and he’s pretty much a jerk.

As they are gearing up for the holiday season they are also dealing with a woman who keeps leaving her daughter alone in the library. When bruises are found on the little girl they report the mother, she then turns around and makes some awful accusations towards Mr. Miggles and now he is under investigation. Toby steps up to defend Sean and their library and it also when he learns so much more about Sean Miggles.

Toby rallies the town to save Sean’s reputation and job, and also gets to know Sean, the real Sean. He learns why Sean is so guarded and private but those secrets have to be revealed to help defend Sean. In that time he also sees Justin’s true colors and ends their relationship. Toby and Sean grow closer and feelings get deeper.

I loved how this story came together, between the townspeople, Toby’s family and the relationship between Toby and Sean themselves this was everything I wanted in a holiday story. This story was a perfect combination of touching, fun and sweet with some hot library times thrown in as well. I adored this story and know it is one I will go back to again and again for that heart-happy, warm fuzzy feeling. Eli Easton really delivered a fantastic holiday feel good story to get you in the holiday mood!
