One perfect frame.
That’s all it takes to capture an eternal moment; although most people let them pass by without acknowledgement.
I don’t waste any.
Not a single one.
If I see something of beauty, I want to experience it, feel it and immortalise it.
If I see someone of beauty, I want to taste them, worship them and memorise them.
I don’t have a type, if I like you, I like you.
I don’t have a preference.
My bisexuality is a gift, not a defect.
It’s the freedom to see beyond gender.
Life is filled with so many ones.
One chance to get things right.
One life to live as you choose.
One decision that gives you acceptance.
One person to fill the emptiness.
Nah, like I said, life is full of ones.
My camera lets me focus on the good times; I develop from life’s negatives and if things don’t work out, I just take another shot.
Who needs just one?
Book #5 in the ‘Love by Numbers’ series.
Can be read as a standalone.
Isaac and Flynn – oh boy these two really got to me! Theirs is a story about honesty and being true to who you really are, and E.S. Carter has done a great job with this story! It’s passionate, emotional and raw! I really felt for these characters and their journey and it wasn’t always easy, man did my heart hurt at times, but it was definitely worth it!
Isaac is a renowned photographer, open and fun and bisexual. He doesn’t hide behind labels, love is love to him, it doesn’t matter man or woman. Flynn has always gotten to Isaac though, he wants him despite his behavior, but Flynn believes he is straight even though he’s had his moments with Isaac. Flynn struggles with demons from his past that play a part in his beliefs of who he is now. Ultimately he has to figure out how real that belief is and if that is the man he really wants to be.
This book starts off with a lot of passion, from both Flynn and Isaac and to be honest it did not make me like Flynn at all. He does some pretty nasty things and the way he treats Isaac broke my heart. BUT, as the story progressed I started to understand the why of it and totally fell for Flynn. Both of these men have dealt with major tragedy in their lives, shaping their views and that’s a big part of their story.
As Flynn and Isaac reconnect and are finally open and honest with each other, they see how amazing their connection is, how strong they are together. I loved this part of the story so much, the healing and the love, it was beautiful to see from these two! Their journey isn’t easy but they do it together, they find the love and realize how powerful it can be for them.
This was a really great read, a story that took over my heart! I have not read the rest of this series but will definitely be going back to do that now, all of these characters are fantastic and I want to know more! Iz and Flynn definitely have a forever place in my heart now!
