Master Sommelier, Hope Tidwell travels the globe seeking out the finest wines. She refuses to let relationships get in the way of her career and abides by a strict set of rules:
Lucky for her, those rules work just fine for Antonio.
Until they don’t.
When Hope’s sister asks her to do the one thing she’s sworn never to do, she can’t say no.
She never intended to travel down this road.
When unanticipated and devastating events throw the trajectory of her life so far off course, she can’t even recognize her world anymore. Suddenly, the rules no longer apply.
Will Hope be able to do the one thing that terrifies her the most?
*Please note Holding onto Hope was previously released as The Italian
“Rimani Qui?” Antonio repeated the request in Italian, the pull of his accent intoxicating and powerful. His light-grey eyes, full of playful offerings, gleamed in the early morning sunshine pushing through the window.
An involuntary laugh escaped her parted lips, attempting to conceal the hint of regret riddling her voice. “I’ve already extended my trip. My boss might think I’m taking a vacation on her dime if I stay any longer.”
It took every ounce of composure to keep her wits about her. Out of all the lovers Hope encountered during her travels, Antonio was always the hardest to leave.
Antonio Giovanni was the epitome of all men that women dreamed of. Tall, dark, and handsome with an accent sexy enough to leave a trail of women swooning in his wake. The man wore charisma like a fine silk suit…flawless and molded to perfection in all the right places, leaving just enough concealed to make you wonder what lay hidden beneath the faultless exterior.
“Si, I think you need some rest and relaxing. Come back to bed, bella.”
Drawing a long breath through her nose, she envisioned a week-long Tuscan rendezvous curled up beside him, under him, on top of him. Hope’s lashes dusted shut at the delicious image. Tempting.
“I really have to go or I’ll be late for my meeting with Tracy. I don’t want to embarrass myself in front of your sister-in-law.”
Taking hold of the extended handle of her suitcase, she started for the door. Antonio rolled to his back. Reaching an arm above his head, he caught her around the hip, halting her rush. A low laugh simmered in her chest at his tenacity.
“You have plenty of time. Tracy said she’d be in her office between nine and ten.” Antonio slipped a strong hand beneath the hem of her indigo wrap dress. His thumb played mindlessly along her bare thigh, coaxing a shiver up her spine. “And it’s only eight thirty. Let me take care of you before you go.”
“I have to be there at nine, otherwise I’ll be cutting it close to make my departure on time, and I can’t miss my flight again.” Her voice diminished, feeling his long, strong fingers curl around the back of her leg, pulling her close, until her knees rested against the silk bedding. The subtle aches in her inner thighs, sweet and electrifying, brought reminders of the night before.
Digging a heel into the mattress, Antonio inched his body further across the king-sized bed until his head dropped over the edge. The stark white sheet purposely arranged low on his hips, exposing the dark, trimmed hair at his groin. Heaven lay just beneath the silky sheets.
A small, wistful sigh of appreciation floated from her lips, taking in his lean body and sculpted abs. He looked nothing short of breathtakingly exquisite.
“Si’. I’d hate to make you miss your flight again.”
He didn’t sound one bit remorseful.
“Liar,” she teased, barely able to hear her own voice over the pulse hammering in her ears. “I think you’re trying to torture me.”
“Si, I could torture you all day. Stay,” he murmured, taking a gentle bite of her outer thigh.
She smiled down at him, running her fingers through his thick, dark hair. If she didn’t leave in the next sixty seconds, she’d be straddling his face in sixty-one. A tousled mass of golden brown curls fell over her shoulder as she hinged at the waist, placing a long kiss goodbye to the edge of his scruffy jaw.
“So beautiful,” he murmured. Pushing the loose tresses from her face, he twisted, brushing his lips to hers. Taking her mouth, he deepened the kiss, their tongues dancing in a smooth, masterful art of seduction. The provocative pressure, demanding yet playful, drew a low groan from her throat.
“Ciao,” she whispered contritely in his ear.
“Email me the next time you’ll be in Italy. Ciao, bella.”
She lives in Las Vegas with her husband, four kids, and two golden retrievers. If she’s not spinning richly emotional stories, you’ll find her on her spin bike.
The NHL’s biggest bad boy is about to fall for the virgin next door…I am the world’s biggest dating failure. We’re talking my last date went home with our waitress kind of failure.
But I have an ace in the back pocket of my mom jeans—my sexy-as-sin best friend, NHL superstar forward, Justin Cruise.
Justin owes me favors dating back to seventh grade, long before he became a hotshot with a world famous…stick. So in return for my undying platonic loyalty, all I want is an easy-peasy crash course on how to be a sex goddess.
How hard can it be?
I have never been so hard in my life.
The things I want to do to my sweet, kindergarten-teaching, mitten-crocheting best friend Libby Collins are ten different kinds of wrong. Maybe twenty.
But I’m a firm believer in teaching by example, and by the end of our first lesson, we’ve graduated to a hands on approach to her sexual education: my hands all over her, her hands all over me, and her hot mouth melting beneath mine as I prove to her there isn’t a damned thing wrong with the way she kisses.
Give me a month, and I’ll transform Libby from wall flower to wall banger, and ensure she’s confident enough to seduce any guy she wants.
Problem is… the only guy I want her seducing is me.
Hot as Puck is a sexy, flirty, friends-to-lovers Standalone romantic comedy from USA Today Bestseller Lili Valente.
Oh this book! Seriously it’s been days since I finished it and I’m still loving on Cooper and Ainsley! Have you checked it out yet? You really should! Heidi McLaughlin knows baseball and she has created such a great world within these Boston Renegades! I love all the characters, past and present, really can’t wait to read more of them.
Book 1 was Third Base focusing on Ethan Davenport and Daisy Robinson. I have to say that once I knew their story, I knew I wanted to know more about this team. Plus Ethan and Daisy were just a dynamic couple for me, but then Cooper Bailey and Ainsley Burke turned everything on it’s end. They had this whirlwind experience and then everything blew up. Watching them try to figure out their worlds and try to put the pieces back together was everything a good romance is for me.
Now I want to see where Heidi will take us with Travis Kidd, you get a sneak of Grand Slam’s chapter 1 and I can’t wait!! So grab Home Run for your weekend! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Happy reading! Laters, Amber
LOVE ISN’T A GAME . . .
I’ve given up everything for the chance to play major league baseball. Everything. Now I’m so close I can practically hear the crowd chanting my name. There’s nothing that could take my dream away from me . . .
Unless I lose focus. And Ainsley Burke is the most beautiful, distracting woman I’ve ever met. When I’m with her, I can’t think of anything else.
But no matter how much I want Ainsley, there’s no room for love in my game plan. I can give her a quick tour of the bases, but that’s it. Then I have to let her go. If she wants to think I’m a love ’em and leave ’em player, fine.
All dreams require sacrifice. I just wish this one didn’t mean tearing out my own heart.

The problem is as tangled up as their sheets.
My finger goes to swipe off the call when I see the name on the screen and drop the phone. “Shit!” I cry, digging through the items on my passenger’s side floorboard until I find the glowing device.
My heart is pounding as I try to decide whether to end the call or talk to Lincoln. Mortified, I bring it to my ear and squeeze my eyes shut. He’s silent.
Maybe he didn’t hear. Please, God, don’t let him have heard that.

I’m not sure I really have adequate words, but let me just say that if this is how the Virtuous Paradox series is gonna begin, then everyone better buckle up. Bhodi McKnight is full of angst, insecurities and dirty talk; but he’s also full of potential. I think this is what draws Kimberly Gordon to Bhodi in part; she sees past all the celebrity crap into the heart of who he is.
She surprised me in some ways because initially she is turned off by the way Bhodi has wasted his life, but then meeting him begins to change everything she thought was true. The way she supports him and believes in him was really beautiful. Watching Bhodi come into his own and truly embrace his life and the possibilities with Kim brought lots of feels.
This story was honest and raw. I truly believe that Heidi’s writing keeps getting better. BLOW felt genuine and the connections between characters not forced but truly organic to me. I believed what I was reading and it was obvious there was lots of research done to make it so real. I love a second chance story and this was truly Bhodi’s second chance at so much and I loved it all! Definitely need to add this one to your tbr and get ready for Braydon and Carson too!!

Winston Brothers #3
Publication Date: October 11, 2016
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Humor, Romance
Make a deal with the devil and you might get what you want, but will it be what you need?
Jennifer Sylvester wants one thing, and that one thing is NOT to be Tennessee’s reigning Banana Cake Queen. Ever the perpetual good girl and obedient daughter, Jennifer is buckling under the weight of her social media celebrity, her mother’s ambitions, and her father’s puritanical mandates. Jennifer is officially desperate.
And desperate times call for Cletus Winston.
Cletus Winston is a puzzle wrapped in a mystery covered in conundrum sauce, and now he’s in a pickle. Despite being convinced of his own omniscience, extortion by the exalted Banana Cake Queen of Green Valley has taken him completely by surprise. So… what’s a maniacal mastermind to do?
Likely, the last thing you expect.
‘Beard Science’ is the third book in the Winston Brothers series, is a full-length romantic comedy novel, and can be read as a standalone.
I have to say that I love every quirky thing about Cletus Winston! He is so different and wonderful and I love him! He’s the perfect complement to sweet, sheltered Jenn who really doesn’t have any experience living for herself. This was a wonderfully fun and sweet story that made my heart happy and gave me a huge craving for cake!
Jenn Sylvester has always lived the life her parents expect her to; she dresses the way she is told, does her makeup the way she is told and always delivers perfect baked goods. She doesn’t have friends, any romantic life or for that matter any life outside of being the Banana Cake Queen. And she’s tired of it, she wants a life, a husband and a family of her own. Then one key moment gives her a chance to take a stand and it doesn’t matter if it starts out as blackmail, Cletus Winston is going to help her.
I loved the Winston family, those brothers and Ashley are something else! So many strong personalities and so much stubbornness. They all have their lives but are still so very close, their family bond unbreakable. And Cletus, oh he’s something, he has the ability to read people, to watch a situation and he think he’s the master at it, although Jenn continues to surprise him time after time. What starts as an agreement between the two quickly becomes more and their feelings develop into something beautiful.
One of my favorite things about this book was the love and loyalty to each other. Whether within the Winston family or between Cletus and Jenn, the bonds stay strong with this group. I absolutely adored watching Jenn grow and become more confident and embrace the person she truly wanted to be, and Cletus realizing what he felt for her and how deep those feelings really went. Even though they are so very different they are so very perfect together.
This was such a fun story that really got to my heart. I loved all of the fun moments, the loving moments and just the family as a whole. I really enjoyed everything about this book and highly recommend the Winston Family!
“So Cletus told me I needed to change one thing every day. He wasn’t specific about what I should change, just that I should decide on the one thing myself.” Billy nodded. I continued. “At first I didn’t see the purpose, but—do you know?—Cletus was right. Something as trivial as paining my nails a different color made me feel like I could do anything I set my mind to.” Billy smiled. I continued. “Cletus also said-” Billy cleared his throat. “Do you go to the jam session much? I think I’ve only seen you here a handful of times.” “I don’t, actually. I’d like to, but Saturdays are busy. I’m usually making special orders on Friday night. I’ve heard you sing a few times, though. You should do it more often, you have such a nice voice.” Billy smiled again, his eyes sliding to me then away. “Thank you.” “And Cletus is amazing on the banjo. Last year he did a folksy version of Thriller, during Halloween. It was spectacular.” Billy sighed.
Conversation was surprisingly easy with Billy Winston, once I stopped being afraid of saying the wrong thing. Instead of worrying, I just said whatever I wanted. He wasn’t a big talker, other than asking me questions, so I filled the silence. Sometimes what I said made him laugh. Sometimes it made him nod. Sometimes it made him cough. But usually whatever I said made him smile. And that was nice. He was nice. He pulled his truck into the community center lot and it was clear the jam session was already in full swing. The evening was chilly, so folks were dressed in coats. I pulled my shawl over my shoulders and Billy opened my door, helping me from the car. I slipped my fingers back into the crook of his elbow while trying to suppress a new, and more powerful, flutter of excitement as we approached the community center. I wondered if Cletus would be there. I wondered what he would think of my dress, and my hair in a bun, and my purposefully minimal makeup, and my nail polish. Even though I was nervous, I grinned at the thought. “What are you smiling about?” Billy asked, giving me the side eye. “I’m nervous,” I answered honestly, feeling breathless, then asked before I could catch myself, “Do you think Cletus is here?” Billy’s mouth tugged to the side and he studied my face. “I’m sure he is. Why?” “I wonder what he’ll think of my dress,” I admitted excitedly. Billy chuckled and shook his head. “What? What is it?” I pressed, searching his profile for a sign as to why he was laughing. He pulled us to a stop and faced me. “Since this is a practice date, do you want me to give you a tip?” I nodded eagerly. “Yes, please. All tips are welcome.” “Okay. Here goes,” he gathered large breath, like he was bracing himself, and said, “When you’re on a date with a man, it’s probably best not to bring up a different man.” My lips parted as my face fell. “I’m sorry. I keep talking about your brother.” “No, no. It’s fine.” He reached for my hand and squeezed it. “This is a practice, no need to apologize. I’m not upset. But if this were a real date, you bringing up Cletus and wondering what he’s going to think of your dress would definitely rub me the wrong way. If I’m on a date, I want that woman to be thinking only of me. Does that make sense?” I nodded, because it did make sense. “Just like, I probably wouldn’t like it—if this were a real date—if you kept bringing up other woman.” “That’s right.” He moved my hand back to his arm. “You’ll want to keep the conversation about the two of you.” I considered things as we walked. “Thank you, Billy.” “For what?” He opened the double door for me, placing his hand on the small of my back to usher me inside. The entryway was full of people, but I hardly noticed them. “Thanks for doing this, and for the tip. Thanks for sacrificing your Friday night.” Billy covered my fingers on his arm with his hand. “It’s not a sacrifice, Jennifer.” “Well, it can’t be pleasant.” He grinned again and gave me an incredulous look. “What? What did I do this time? Do you have more tips?” I needed to know. I hoped he filled the whole night with tips, so I would be an expert when the time came for a real date. Billy’s grin faded as his piercing blue eyes moved over my face. If he’d done this just last week I think I would’ve fainted on the spot, mortified and terrified and assured of my own failure. But so much had changed in a week. I wasn’t afraid of him anymore. I was changing, becoming braver. So I met his glacial eyes straight on and lifted my eyebrows encouragingly. “You can tell me, whatever it is,” I whispered earnestly, stepping closer. “Like I said, all tips welcome.” Finally, he said, “You have no idea how gorgeous you are, do you?” I gaped at him, because that was not what I’d expected him to say.
But before I could recover, a stern voice to my left interjected. “She has no idea whatsoever.” I turned and found Cletus standing at my shoulder. Startled, I stumbled a step to the side so I could see him better. What I found surprised me. His jaw was clenched. His mouth was curved into a frown. And Cletus’ eyes, a dangerous and fiery blue, were narrowed on his brother.
About Penny Reid
SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-6, girl-4 as of this writing).
By day I’m a biomedical researcher with focus on rare diseases. By night I’m a knitter, sewer, lino block carver, fabric printer, soap maker, and general crafter. By the wee hours of the morning or when I’m intoxicated I love to listen to the voices in my head and let them tell me stories. I hope you enjoy their stories.

Edwin Allen Mercer
I want them all to read my words. And they do. Every last blood-stained sentence, they’ve read and praised me for. They love the gore and violence, the realness. And I get a sense of power with it all because I know a secret: the victims in my books—they’re real and have all died on my table. And maybe that’s why the last book had such awful reviews. Murder is, after all, a dirty little thing. Some can stomach it. Others can’t. My answer to those reviews: find a woman to co-author with. To be the next pathetic character in my book. Pity she’s so pretty.
All I’ve ever wanted was to be successful as a writer so when I was offered the opportunity to co-author a book with my idol, EA Mercer, I jumped at the chance. He’s beautiful and a literary genius, but something about him makes my stomach knot. And maybe it’s my overactive imagination making my hairs stand on end when he walks up behind me.
After all, these wicked little words we’re typing are only fiction. They’re only fiction…
