Jude Sinclair here, hockey player for the Bellevue Bullies and lover of all ladies. Hockey’s in my blood, and not to sound full of myself, but I’m good at it…really good. Amber’s Review:

One of the things I love about reading or books in general is that they allow the reader to experience things you don’t normally experience in your everyday world. Sometimes this is all purely fantasy and other times it opens your world up to something that you come to enjoy or even love. What you say does this have to do with Toni Aleo’s newest offering? Well to me it means everything, because the first time I read one of her books I simply fell in love with the world of hockey. It was a little over a year ago when another of my favorite authors said “Amber you have to read this you’ll love it!” and she sent me Taking Shots (Assassins Series #1) and was totally hooked! So when I found out that Toni was writing a spin-off of that amazing series (seriously go download and read all those yummy Assassins books pronto!!) I knew I was gonna love it. And I was more than right!!

Boarded By Love is the story of Claire and Jude. If you’ve read Toni’s other books, we first meet Claire in Breaking Away and while reading it isn’t mandatory I do recommend it. Claire is a dancer. She smart, she’s focused and she has secrets and hurts that still haunt her from her childhood. Jude is cocky, self-assured, a total player and the captain of the Bellevue Bullies hockey team. When these two collide it is electric and Claire knows that there is something about him that she is drawn to unlike any guy she’s ever met. Jude feels the same thing and it’s the first time he’s ever wanted to date, because Jude doesn’t date – he conquers and moves on to the next. Watching these two begin to let the other in, to start to build something together is at times comical, at times magical and at other times it was simply heart wrenching. Toni has this way of writing that I swear I’m watching it all happen in front of me, from the hockey to the dancing to the steam these two feel together. I was in awe of this story! I’m in awe of Toni. She truly writes beautiful stories! So go get this one. Feel the emotion and the love. Can’t wait to see what comes next in this new series!!

Holy shit. Did I just set up a trial period with Jude Sinclair in the hopes that he’ll be my boyfriend at the end of two weeks? I must have because I’m kissing him like I just did. Our bodies have molded together and our lips move in tandem in a playful assault. I know that eyes are on us, but I don’t give two shits. To say that people have been warning me left and right about Jude would be an understatement.
