5 Ruined Stars!

Erin Watt has done it again – completely ruined me! I was so very excited to get more of the Royals, especially Easton and I was definitely not disappointed. There is something about their writing, the ability to put a knot of angst in my stomach even during the light moments, I just know something big is going to happen and holy hell that something big was delivered! This book had me guessing what the bombshell would be until the very end and then BOOM – rocked my world!

Easton Royal is something else, he’s cocky and popular and wild and doesn’t take no for answer, so when the new girl at school doesn’t want to give him the time of day he sees it as a challenge. Hartley Wright doesn’t have time for someone like Easton, but he is hard to ignore, considering he manages to be everywhere she is, she knows she can’t give in completely but agrees to be friends with him. Easton still sees Hartley as a challenge but also finds her friendship means more to him than he ever expected.

I’ve been hoping for Easton’s story since the very beginning and Erin Watt delivered! He’s not 100% loveable, he can be a bit of an entitled jerk sometimes, he’s impulsive and thinks of himself first, but then he turns a corner and is just so freaking loveable that it makes my head spin. He’s young and rich and there aren’t always real consequences for the things he does, until he meets Hartley. Her life is a bit of a mess right now and she’s trying to put it back together. Easton tries to help but learns that throwing his Easton charm at something doesn’t always work.

Fallen Heir was different than what I expected, but I loved every bit of it. There are a lot of moving parts to this story and a lot of build up but it’s all worth it! There is a massive cliffhanger at the end of this book but I hope it doesn’t deter, this was a fantastic read! I am already counting down to the next book because OH MY GOD that ending, but another wonderful, angst filled read that I could not put down!
