EP Review
4 – 4.5 Stars
Wow – this book surprised me, in the best possible way! I hadn’t read the first book, which for me didn’t take anything away from Trystan and Dakota’s story, although I will be going back to read it! I think I expected something different when this story started, something lighter, but this story was powerful, emotional and really all about the power of love.
Trystan is a confident, popular football player destined for greatness and he knows it. He’s used to getting what he wants and when the cute, shy swimmer he’s lusting after proves to be a challenge, Trystan accepts that challenge and ends up in way deeper than he ever planned. Dakota turns out to be everything he ever wanted and he falls hard and fast. But, it’s not that easy, Dakota is trying to escape a horribly brutal past and it’s all about survival, not love.
I absolutely adored these two! I mean, I fell as hard and fast and Trystan. I loved the way Trystan broke through Dakota’s protective layers and without knowing the details of his pain, slowly started to heal him. Trystan is just such a loveable guy, even when he puts his foot in his mouth. Dakota, oh my god, my heart broke for him. The pain and suffering he’s experienced and the after effects that follow him around, oh you can just feel it. But slowly he lets Trystan in and starts finding joy in life again.
I really felt like this story was about the power of love and healing, of hope and believing in your worth. Trystan is that steadfast love for Dakota, he too discovering how powerful that real love can be. This book certainly had its dark moments that just gut you, but it also has plenty of smiles, cuteness, off the charts chemistry and so much heart. Again, I absolutely adored these two and their journey together! This is a book I won’ t soon forget and am definitely looking forward to reading more from T.S. McKinney!

Provocative Final Border 4.07.17 PM

Book one in the sexy and intense new White Lies duet by Lisa Renee Jones!

There are those moments in life that are provocative in their very existences, that embed in our minds forever, and sometimes our very souls. They change us, mold us, maybe even save save us. But some are darker, dangerous. If we allow them to, they control us. Seduce us. Quite possibly even destroy us.

The moment I walked into Sonoma’s Reid Winter Winery and Vineyard and made eye contact with Faith Winter for the first time was one of those moments. Provocative because I know at least one of her secrets, of which, I suspect she has many. Provocative because she believes I was a stranger to her when we met, but I am not. Provocative because I sought her out, with no intention of touching her. But now I have. Now I want her. Now I have to have her. But that changes nothing. It doesn’t change why I came for her.

Secrets, secrets, secrets! They are power and weakness and they are intriguing! The title is perfect for this book, the best description I could give! I want more, I need more and I didn’t want to stop! I was completely drawn into this story, into Nick and Faith and the mysteries surrounding these characters. Warning though – there is a cliffhanger, and a big one!

This is one of those reads that is as fun as it is off the charts sexy and mysterious! I felt wrapped up in their world of sex, lies and murder, wanting answers! This really is a story that should just be experienced, I don’t want to give anything away. All I can say is read it and be ready to be yelling for more!

But they never discuss what’s closest to their hearts, not prepared to risk their friendship for the mere possibility of something more.

jenn-review

3.5 Stars

This is one of those reviews that’s a little tricky, overall I did enjoy this story and the characters but there some challenges for me too. The story and the characters are strong and I found myself totally immersed in the action. I really liked Kieran and Joel, their strong personalities and yet tender feelings towards each other that both try to hide. They definitely both cared so much for the other and it takes some near death moments to finally be open about the truth.

I felt like a lot of this book, given that it’s book 1 in the series, was spent on set-up – getting to know the security company, the major players and the situation they’ve found themselves in. I definitely felt like I got to know the background very well and that the foundation for this series has been established.

Joel and Kieran are partners at Fireworks Security, they have a close bond and work well together. Both men have baggage though, and after a hostage situation gone wrong, they are trying to work through some of it when they end up in the middle of a whole other mess. Joel is injured, nearly killed in an explosion, it’s Kieran who rescues him and the drama really begins. Someone is after them and they have to figure out who it is and why before it’s too late.

There’s a lot of action and mystery in this story, the group trying to sort through the pieces of this puzzle and keep each other safe. Add in Joel’s doctor, Marius, a former military man and it really starts to get interesting. He is a great addition to this group and it definitely feels like he will be a part of this series in the future. Also in there is the relationship between Joel and Kieran. I loved the chemistry between these two from the beginning. It felt very natural and even when they were trying to hide their feelings you can tell that the feeling is there. Once it’s admitted I adored the way these two took care of each other.

Overall I liked this story, but there were times when I felt like there were holes, sometimes transitions felt abrupt and I’d get a little lost. The romance side sometimes felt like it was more minor than the suspense side, but I still enjoyed it. I am very curious to see what happens next for this group because the ending didn’t feel complete, not like a cliffhanger, but yeah I want more.

Happy Reading!

Scarred
Mia Kerick
Publication date: March 1st 2017
Genres: LGBTQ+, New Adult, Romance, Suspense

From bestselling author Mia Kerick comes a New Adult novel of Gay Romantic Suspense that will keep you up reading all night!

Matthew North waited ten years to heal from the devastating wounds inflicted by the man who abducted and abused him as a child. Living reclusively on a tropical island—with no company but his four cats—he merely avoids the lingering pain.

Wearing twisted ropes of mutilated skin on his back, Matt struggles with a profound hindrance—the scars that deaden his soul. However, on the night he meets lively Vedie Wilson, a local restaurant busboy who expresses his gender by wearing lipgloss and eyeliner along with his three-day beard, things change.

Gradually, Vedie and Mateo unite in friendship. Through a series of awkward encounters, the pair learns each other’s secrets. Vedie learns that an angelic face can front for a scarred soul. Matthew learns that the line between one’s masculine and feminine sides is blurred. Can they embrace the painful stories behind each other’s scars if they’re to find everlasting love? Or will surrendered love come to be yet another blemish on their souls?

4 Stars

Wow – this is an intense and emotional read, packed full of issues, drama and beautiful souls. Matt and Vedie are both broken and scarred for different reasons, but both are amazing individuals who’ve had to overcome so much in their lives. This book was an experience!

When I started this story I thought it was one I wasn’t going to like, it took some time to adjust to Vedie’s way of speaking and the way he thinks, but as I kept reading I found myself more and more attached to him and Matt as well. My heart for these two, for different reasons, but Ms. Kerick sucked me into the world that Vedie and Matt live in.

These two couldn’t be more different. Matt is cold and isolated and lives a life devoid of feeling, and this is his choice. Vedie is tired of apologizing for who he is and thinks he’s found a quiet place where he can be both masculine and feminine. He’s outgoing and social. Matt and Vedie should not connect but they do and it changes both of these men.

This story was powerful and painful, there were times when I had to put it down and take a few breaths. It was shocking and there were times it made my angry but above all it was hope and love. (sounds crazy, but that’s what Mia Kerick made me feel!) I loved the connecting Matt and Vedie found together, something that goes beyond the pain and fear and even deeper than just acceptance. These are two beautiful souls who deserve to find happiness.

Scarred made me laugh, made me cry, made me angry and made me love! This is a roller coaster of emotion with two imperfect men who find love when they least expect it, or think they can handle it. A great journey!

Author Bio:

Mia Kerick is the mother of four exceptional children—all named after saints—and five nonpedigreed cats—all named after the next best thing to saints, Boston Red Sox players. Her husband of twenty years has been told by many that he has the patience of Job, but don’t ask Mia about that, as it is a sensitive subject.

Mia focuses her stories on the emotional growth of troubled young men and their relationships, and she believes that sex has a place in a love story, but not until it is firmly established as a love story. As a teen, Mia filled spiral-bound notebooks with romantic tales of tortured heroes (most of whom happened to strongly resemble lead vocalists of 1980s big-hair bands) and stuffed them under her mattress for safekeeping. She is thankful to Dreamspinner Press for providing her with an alternate place to stash her stories.

Mia is proud of her involvement with the Human Rights Campaign and cheers for each and every victory made in the name of marital equality. Her only major regret: never having taken typing or computer class in school, destining her to a life consumed with two-fingered pecking and constant prayer to the Gods of Technology.

Josh and Cal are back! I loved Good Morning My Angel and totally fell for Josh and Cal and I was definitely excited to dive back into their story. This book wasn’t exactly what I expected, but I did enjoy it! It was intense and action packed and I’m ready for more.

When this story begins Josh and Cal are living far apart, Josh in London and Cal in Seattle, unable to work together and be together. Cal knows he has some decisions to make but a near death experience for Josh sends him back to London, decision made. It’s not just an accident or a one time thing, the lives of those connected to them and the agency are now at stake!

This story hooked me from the start and I couldn’t put it down! I loved the pace and the action and of course Josh and Cal. I love the way these two are together, their connection and love, and of course the pet names! But, I don’t want to give anything away about the story, so I’ll just say I need more! I didn’t know this was going to be a longer series but I can freely admit that I’m excited about it! There is something so special about these characters and their story and they’ve just stayed with me. So MORE please!

4 Stars

Oh man! I have loved Blue and Brady and their journey together so very much and have to admit I was a little nervous about this book. And yeah, emotionally this one put me through the wringer and pretty much kept me there until the end! I would definitely recommend that these books be read in order, they are not standalones.

Brady and Blue have been through and dealt with so much together over the years, but they still have their issues, and when a young hot shot musician shows up it just makes all those issues come to the surface. Blue’s career is taking off and this is a big chance for him but his client is a big flirt and wants Blue. This is a whole new challenge for Blue. At the same time Brady is struggling as well, and this just sends his jealousy through the roof.

I understood what happened with Brady and Blue and their issues, but I have to admit this story was a little hard for me. I’ve become so attached to these two and this part of their journey made my heart hurt! It’s not to say this wasn’t a good read, it was, just much more angsty and heartbreaking. I was frustrated with many of the choices these two made and spent a good amount of this story wanting to throw something! I had to know what was going to happen though, I couldn’t put it down. For as much as I felt as broken as Blue and Brady during most of this story, I loved the end and the way it all came together even if it did happen quickly.

This story had real struggles and raw emotions and while it may not have been my favorite part of Brady and Blue’s relationship, I understood it’s a part of their journey. I don’t know if this is the end of this series, I sure hope that it’s not, but I ended this book with a smile and sigh of relief. Stealing Blue was a powerful and emotional story for Blue and Brady!

Brady Halverson sat in a dark leather chair in the living room with a glass of wine, listening to the chatter that had continued all through dinner. Blue was right. C.K. could keep a conversation going without any help.
Their dinner guest was a stereotypical teenager, energetic, excitable, and overconfident in places. He assumed they were seeing C.K.’s polite side. A kid raised with the kind of money and power that accompanied Freeman’s reputation had to be used to getting his way, and no doubt used to people kissing his ass. Brady wondered how many of Blue’s friends would join the queue before the album was finished.
Brady had noticed something else during the last couple of hours. C.K. was a flirt and his obvious target that night was Blue.
C.K. sat on the couch, closer to Blue than he needed to be, laughing at everything Blue said. He’d been playing that game all night. Using amusement as an excuse to touch Blue. Shoulder bumps. Playful shoves. Affectionate pats in random places.
Brady watched C.K. chuckle at a comment, giving Blue a gentle shove complete with a shy look from under his lashes. That was sixteen in the past hour. Had Blue and C.K. been alone the kid would have made a move already. That knowledge lit a cinder in Brady’s chest. He cooled it with a drink of wine.
Brady wasn’t fond of flirts. He was less fond of the kind who hit on his man. The only thing keeping him from pulling C.K. off the couch and shoving him into the vacant chair on the other side of the coffee table was his reluctance to look like the jealous, over protective type he was. So he sat and smiled and pretended not to see C.K.’s fingers rested on Blue’s shoulder.
Seventeen.
Blue didn’t seem to care, and Brady was struggling not to see it as proof Blue liked the attention. He couldn’t afford to start being paranoid that early. Blue and C.K. would spend the next several days locked in the upstairs studio, working alone together. Unless Brady cleared his schedule to sit up there with them, he would have to trust Blue to ignore C.K.’s advances. That or lose his mind and make a scene he wasn’t sure Blue would forgive.
That album was a big deal. It would either launch Blue’s new career as a producer or kill it. He didn’t want to be the reason the project failed.
Brady sat and pretended not to notice the kid encroaching on his territory, all but climbing in Blue’s lap.
Eighteen.
Nineteen.
Twenty.

Length: 56,000 words

Blurb

Dr. Paul Johnston can’t get a set of dark, somber eyes out of his head, and the timing couldn’t be worse.

The last thing he needs is to fall for a patient. Not now, when he’s been put on paid leave pending review of a formal complaint. One that most likely accuses him of sexual harrassment or impropriety of some kind. It’s possible he let his newfound freedom as a divorced, out-of-the-closet gay man go to his head, but he’s certain — mostly — he didn’t do anything wrong. Now, he’s struggling to handle the reality that his job is in danger and the only guy he wants should be off-limits.

Zane Kavanaugh is floundering, and there’s only one man who soothes the storm inside him.

Reeling from an assault that landed him in the hospital and the painful estrangement from his family since coming out, Zane is trying to get his feet under him and find his independence. He moves in with a roommate and searches for a job, all while recovering from a fractured arm and cracked ribs. None of that hurts as much as the emotional damage he’s suffered. When he connects with Dr. Paul Johnston outside of the ER, he’s drawn to the man’s calm, collected manner. It doesn’t hurt that Paul’s lack of experience with men is sexy as hell, and so are his over-the-top responses when Zane gets his lips on him.

There’s no right time to fall in love.

Paul is afraid to start a relationship, and Zane can only handle so much more rejection. Will these two find their perfect moment, or will they realize you can’t choose when and how you fall in love? If Paul can’t take a risk, he may have to choose: the career he loves or the first man to capture his heart.

Bedside Manner is Book 1 of the Hearts & Health series. This is a spin-off series from the book Heart Trouble and includes characters from that novel, but it can be read as a standalone.

I enjoyed this sweet read from DJ Jamison! Paul and Zane are great characters, a bit broken and in need of love but definitely likeable guys! I was glad that I had recently read Heart Trouble because we get a lot of Ben and Gage too and knowing their story helped me feel connected to Paul and Zane’s journey together.

Paul is a recently divorced and newly out doctor who lives for his job – he’s a great ER doctor even if he flirts a little bit. Zane is a college student who is recovering from a brutal beating from his step-father. These two shouldn’t connect but they do and neither man can seem to deny it no matter what is on the line.

I liked Paul and Zane, and I liked them together. Their age difference never bothered me and I think it’s because DJ Jamison does a great job of connecting these two. Both of these men have been hurt and have never really had a healthy, loving relationship with a partner before so they pretty much have to learn together. I loved Zane’s attitude and willingness to fight for Paul and what they shared. Paul’s a bit slower, but he with his career in jeopardy he has to be. Their relationship felt very real, with the sweet tender moments, the chemistry together and the struggles.

I really did enjoy this story from start to finish and found myself pretty attached to these two. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series – I’m hooked!

Summary:

Most people called it a cult. But for twenty years, Josh & Caleb called it home.

In Paradise, there is no television. No fast food. Just long hours of farm work and prayer on a dusty Wyoming ranch, and nights in a crowded bunkhouse. The boys of the Compound are kept far from the sinners’ world.

But Joshua doesn’t need temptation to sin. His whole life, he’s wanted his best friend, Caleb. By day they work side by side. Only when Josh closes his eyes at night can they be together the way he craves.

It can never be. And his survival depends on keeping his terrible desires secret.

Caleb has always protected Josh against the worst of the bullying at the Compound. But he has secrets of his own, and a plan to get away — until it all backfires.

Josh finds himself homeless in a world that doesn’t want him. Can Caleb find him in time? And will they find a place of safety, where he can admit to Josh how he really feels?

Warning: Contains a hot male/male romance, copious instances of taking the Lord’s name in vain, and love against the kitchen counterThis book was previously released under the title: In Front of God & Everyone. For more about its previous publication, you can read this blog post.

I am definitely a Sarina Bowen fan and I have to admit that from the blurb I was a little concerned about where this story would take me, but it was fantastic! I absolutely fell in love with Caleb and Josh and their journey! I found this to be a very positive, sweet story about true love and finding yourself.

Caleb and Josh were born and raised on the Compound, a cult cut off from the regular world. They live in a sheltered, religious life but not a good one. Caleb’s family is respected in the Compound so he doesn’t have it too rough, but it’s not the life he wants. Josh’s story is a bit different. No great family lines, no talent for the work he’s expected to do and his biggest problem is the fantasies he has about Caleb. No one can ever know though. Caleb is respected and he’s his best friend. When Josh is unexpectedly kicked out of the Compound, it’s Caleb who runs away to save him.

The two boys know they are going to need help, and luckily there is someone who ran away years ago who they know they can turn to for help. Maggie made it out and has made it known that she will help anyone else escaping that place. They have to get there though, they are in Wyoming and Maggie lives in Massachusetts.  Josh and Caleb definitely have a journey ahead of them, getting across the country and finally discovering their true feelings for each other.

I absolutely loved the progression of their relationship, the strong love they have for each other and how they overcome the struggles of their upbringing together. Caleb has such a wonderful strength in reassuring Josh that their love is a good, beautiful thing and not something to be ashamed of. This really is a story of growing and loving and finding your place in the world. Both men struggle as they try to assimilate into a new world but they learn and grow, and do it together. Of course, there’s a little blip for these two but even then you see how strong their love is.

Overall, I loved this story. It was something different and these characters are powerful and beautiful souls that you just can’t help but root for. Josh and Caleb, along with Maggie and her family will absolutely touch your heart and make you smile. Total swoonworthy read and I can’t wait to read the next book!

 3.5 – 4 Stars
This was a sweet story with that ‘pay it forward’ feel with a love story. Jamie is a young student who has dreams of law school but is basically right in the middle of the worst day ever. He meets Guy and he offers to help Jamie, offering him a place to live and help with school. It certainly feels like a too good to be true moment, but Guy really is a wonderful person who wants to help.
Step by Step is a low-angst read, of course Jamie and Guy face challenges as their relationship grows, but they deal with things together. I did like the May/December thing, that really worked for me in this book. Overall, I enjoyed their story, watching as these two fell in love! This is a good go-to for a feel good story that has heart without drama everywhere!
“Please, tell me you’re tapping that gorgeous ass,” Troy said in a low voice.
Guy followed Troy’s gaze to where Jamie stood next to Cole, talking and smiling with Simon Bexter. Guy smiled to himself. Perfect. Cole had caught on to Guy’s plan.

Then Troy’s words hit home. “Excuse me?”
Troy indicated Jamie with a nod of his head. “Your so-called roommate. Only that’s a euphemism, right?” He gave Guy a sideways glance. “You are fucking him, right?”
“Wrong.” Guy set his jaw. It wasn’t the first time that evening that he’d heard that assumption. “One, he’s straight, and—”

Troy snorted. “And what’s wrong with that? He just doesn’t know what he’s missing.” He leered. “You could be the one to teach him how to take a dick.”

Guy tried not to growl. “And two, I’m helping him get a good start in life. Like someone once did for me.” Right then he was asking himself why he’d invited Troy in the first place.

Troy groaned. “Seriously? Just look at him. That is one beautiful specimen of manhood right there.”
Guy watched how Jamie interacted with others. It was funny, but until that moment, he’d never seen him as a man. He was just…. Jamie. But Troy had a point. Jamie’s creamy skin, gorgeous blue eyes, and slim figure all added up to a beautiful man.

How come I never saw him so clearly before?

Maybe it was because Jamie was straight. Guy wasn’t in the habit of lusting after straight guys. He’d had his fingers burned in the past, and on both occasions, it hadn’t turned out well. Maybe that was why his brain had refused to acknowledge what he was now seeing: Jamie was lovely.
Then Jamie glanced across at him and his eyes lit up.

“Ooh, someone’s happy,” Troy said in a singsong voice. “Look at that smile.” He nudged Guy with his elbow. “You play your cards right and you could have that tasty piece of ass warming your sheets tonight.”

Guy turned to Troy with a sigh of exasperation. “You don’t listen, do you? Not going to happen. You got that? Now go find yourself someone else to pester.” He had no idea why Troy’s suggestions evoked such a strong reaction in him, but he wasn’t about to spend time fathoming it out. Not when Jamie was walking over to him.

Troy huffed and left him to go to the bar, and Guy was fine with that. He’d known Troy for years, but recently he had changed. He’d become a pig, pure and simple. At least Guy could see that now.

Well, no more.

Jamie stopped in front of him, his face glowing. “Thank you.” The words were uttered fervently but quietly.
“For what?”
Jamie’s smile hadn’t dimmed. “I figured it out, with a little help from Cole. You put a lot of thought into that guest list, didn’t you?”
Guy played the innocent. “I’m sure I have no idea what you’re talking about.” When Jamie continued to stare, he had to relent. “Okay, so I might have invited a few lawyers.” He nodded in Cole’s direction. “I got the impression you were a little awestruck when I introduced you to Cole.”
Jamie chuckled. “That would be an understatement. I may have a mild case of hero-worship.”
“Hero?” Guy widened his eyes. “Wow.” He buffed his fingernails on his shirt. “Guess I did good, then.”
Jamie laughed. “Better than good. You are one cool guy, do you know that?”

Fuck, the light in his eyes….
Guy steered himself away from that particular thought, but he had to admit it had shaken him. When was the last time someone looked at me like that?

The sad thing was, he couldn’t remember.

Guy pulled himself together. “So are you done schmoozing for the night, or is Cole about to introduce you to another mover and shaker?”
Jamie laughed again, and Guy loved its natural, unforced quality. Even his laughter makes me feel good. He gave himself a mental slap. He did not want to think about Jamie like that.
Guy smiled. “I’m going to mingle and make sure everybody’s happy. Cole looks like he’s taking good care of you.” He reached out and squeezed Jamie’s shoulder. “I’m glad you’re having a good time.”

To his surprise Jamie gave him a quick hug. “Thank you,” he whispered before releasing him and disappearing in Cole’s direction.

Guy stared after him, shocked by the unexpected display of affection. Then Troy stepped into his line of sight, his lips contorted into a smirk, his eyebrows arched.

Guy slowly turned away and headed into the living room.

Nope. Not going there.

K.C. Wells started writing in 2012, although the idea of writing a novel had been in her head since she was a child. But after reading that first gay romance in 2009, she was hooked.

She now writes full time, and the line of men in her head, clamouring to tell their story, is getting longer and longer. If the frequent visits by plot bunnies are anything to go by, that’s not about to change anytime soon.

SWEET RIVALRY - Tour banner

sweetrivRyder Rodgers had a plan.

He was going to stride into the conference room, do the required song and dance over the next five days, and win the biggest contract of his career. But when he walked in and heard the voice of one of his competitors, all his plans were shot to hell.

Harper Denton. She was always on top. In college. First in their class. Always using every advantage to edge him out to win the coveted positions. The only one who could beat him. His academic rival. More like a constant thorn in his side. And his ego’s.

When he heard her voice, he was brought back to years before. To the bitter taste of being second best. But the woman who meets his gaze is nothing like the drab wallflower he used to know. Hell no. She was all woman now: curves, confidence, and staggering sex appeal. And no doubt, still brilliant.

The fact that she’s gorgeous and bright won’t distract him. This time, Ryder’s determined to be the one on top. But not if Harper can help it.

Friends-Enemies-Lovers – Sweet Rivalry is a fun, steamy read with great characters, we’ve got a sassy heroine with killer heels and a bearded, tattooed sweetheart of a guy. I really enjoyed Ryder and Harper’s story. It’s a short, quick read that will definitely make you smile without angst or drama.

Ryder and Harper knew each other in college and just when their chemistry really starts, it ends in one moment. Years later while bidding on the same job, the two are reunited and the competiveness they shared is back in full force but so is that chemistry, stronger than ever.

These two are so great! Harper is adorable in every way, she’s beautiful and successful but she’s got a bit of derpy side to her. Ryder is all confidence and beards and tattoos but he’s got a sweet heart and a definite thing for Harper, even after all these years.

Sweet Rivalry is an easy-going, high chemistry read then you’re looking for that feel-good read. There’s no angst really, just two people finally reconnecting in a great way. I really enjoyed this story from start to finish!

Work first. Reward sex next.

That’ll give me something to look forward to during the next few days. The ones I can’t wait to dive headfirst into that will be an ever-changing combination of stress, exhaustion, strategy, and manipulation. An unscripted dance amongst us bidders while we size each other up, calculate our numbers, and explain to the developer why we’re the most valuable candidate for the job.

It’s the game I love. The competition I thrive on. My return to the job that I’ve been desperate to make.

And there’d be no better way to make a statement that Harper Denton is back than to leave this building with the multimillion dollar contract for Meteor Development tucked securely under my arm.

And just like that, as a reward for my positive thinking, when I look up, there he is, in full view.

I take in the expensive briefcase, the venti Starbucks, and the expensive watch peeking out from beneath the cuff of his shirt. And just my luck that while I’m afforded a full view of his body, the one thing I’m the most curious about is obscured by his hand holding his cell phone up to his ear: his face.

So instead I drink him in. He really is magnificent. I note his posture and the way he carries his body when he moves forward a few steps. There’s an air about him that says he’s no-nonsense and in control, powerful, and at the same time he doesn’t seem uptight. He has that Southern

California professional vibe. I can’t put my finger on it but he reminds me of someone I can’t quite place. Regardless, a man who can pull off being in control and playful has definite merits.

Like “spank me until my body aches in want, and then make a game of hitting each erogenous zone with his tongue before he’ll satisfy that ache he created and let me come” type of merits.

The mind-blowing-sex reward just became even more appealing.
